Gold Lacquer Bb Flugelhorn

The Flugelhorn is a member of the trumpet family and is played the same way. The difference is the sound - it is much more mellow and dark, whereas a trumpet is bright and more suited to the higher register. This means that the flugelhorn is used mainly in jazz and brass bands.

Some Flugelhorns use rotary valves and are more like a french horn to play, this Flugelhorn is designed specifically for trumpet players - they will be able to pick it up and play right away thanks to it's trumpet mouthpiece and piston valves.
